IN 1940s, a self-taught engineer Percy Spencer accidentally discovered the method of cooking food with microwaves. Popcorn was the first food that was deliberately cooked with Spencer's microwave and then was an egg. Thus was the beginning of the most useful and much needed kitchen appliance- the microwave oven. It is said to be the best invention of the 20th century. It is a kitchen appliance that cooks or heats food by dielectric heating. Microwave radiation is used to heat water and other polarised molecules within the food.

Golden Globe winner Jennifer Aniston (The Good Girl), who usually practices for two hours every day, says that quiets her mind and leans her out. Forty-year-old Aniston, who has one of the most desirable bodies in the industry, says she credits with making her legs leaner and her arms stronger. She also said that helped in lengthening limbs, improving posture, and toning muscles and that a sweaty workout felt like a therapy session. Aniston, who is fond of Indian and spicy food and who had been chosen as one of People magazine's Most Beautiful People in the World and whose divorce from Oscar-nominated Brad Pitt (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) was finalised in 2005, had reportedly said that helped her to recover from the split.

What is life? Life is nothing but a series of experiences. On the basis of our experiences, we form habits, thinking processes and our perceptions. We see the world as per our perceptions. After retirement, say after 60 or so, one should be able to understand and realize this process of experiences, habits and perceptions clearly.
