Much before medical science discovered it, Readers Digest came out with the prescription --- laughter is the best medicine. Newspapers and magazines which regularly run humour columns are therefore doing a great service in keeping the readers in good humour. Reading light articles, whether they are satirical, comical or just humorous, relieves the tedium of workaday world. Some pieces may also tickle one's grey matter.

The incestuous relationship of the Ego, attached to the Body, gives birth to a daughter called Desire. When she is grown up and attains puberty, she is mated with Hatred. The child of this marriage, nursed by its grand parent, Pride, the father of Ego, is the reaction to pleasure and pain (the duality of good and bad).

The world around me seems to be falling in love. Most of my friends are falling in love, all of a sudden! There's something I call as the season of deaths, when you hear of many deaths in a particular span of time you know. Similarly, this seems to be the season of love. Have I ever fallen in love? No. Am I normal, physically and mentally? Physically - yes, mentally- sorry, can't take your bet on that one. Then why have I never fallen in love? Well, maybe my next question can give you the answer. What the hell is love in the first place?
