I salute all Indian women on International Women's Day (IWD). Some citizens may disagree, some may blame author for raising this question, some may says that it is good excuse for women to get holiday, some women may support this and some may put idea of working is the way of honour (which working women in office or field are doing from decades).

Nothing can change our erring Parliamentarians till stringent measures are taken against them for violation of norms and rules set for them. It is shocking and surprising why proceedings for breach of privileges are not initiated as per rules against those 110 Lok Sabha members who failed to submit details of their assets and wealth to Lok Sabha secretariat within mandatory 90 days of being member of the House.

All this talk of Mumbai for Mumbaikars is making me very nervous. I don't know to what part of the country I can lay claim to. As a man from Bengal, largely brought up in Delhi, partly educated in Pune and also owning a small flat there and further married to a lady from the Philippines, just who am I? The identity question is beginning to haunt me, for over years, having travelled to practically every part of India, I realize that I can largely live and adjust everywhere.
