Khan was born on November 2, 1965 and he began his career with television serials, which catapulted him to Bollywood fame and success as actor, producer and also an owner of a team of Indian Premier League.

Bollywood Heart throb Shahrukh Khan turned 44 on Monday (November 2). The versatile actor was greeted by hundreds of his fans in Mumbai outside his house, when he came on top of the terrace and waved them.

Shahrukh Khan learned acting under famous Director Barry John at the famous Theatre Action Group of Delhi. He made his acting debut with the famous serial Fauji, where he played the role of an army commando.

 Thereafter, he found success with Circus, a serial which depicted the life of circus performers. His films have been big hits both in India and abroad which include Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Om Shanti Om, Chak De, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.The superstar also found success as a TV host as he replaced Amitabh Bacchan from the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati.
