Informatica Corporation, an independent provider of enterprise data integration software, announced the launch of Informatica Data Archive Cloud Store Option.

It supports all structured data including relational databases, enterprise applications and data warehouses. Removes need for specialized database skills through standard file system management of archives. It also automatically distributes processing load to accommodate spikes in utilization when reporting requirements grow, during eDiscovery or compliance audits.

Adam Wilson, general manager, ILM, Informatica, said in Bangalore on Monday: "Companies are rethinking their approach to data retention as their data volumes continue to grow exponentially and they have to hold onto that data for long periods of time. Informatica's Data Archive Cloud Store Option provides the ideal approach to cost effectively maintain these large, infrequently accessed data volumes."
