The BJP has roped in Rajeev Chandrasekhar, independent member of Rajya Sabha and the founder of Jupiter Capital to pen down the draft of Vision-2025. This documentation will primarily outline the future policies of the party.
While commenting on the decision of the party to hire someone outside the party for this task, Nitin Gadkari, the BJP President, said that that the party wants to leverage on the vast expertise of Chadrasekhar in formulating the blueprint of the next 15 years. He also added that Chandrasekhar acted as one of the leading captains of the Indian industry and it is going to definitely help in preparing ‘Vision-2025'.
Reacting to this decision of BJP, Chandrasekhar said that it was a big surprise for him as there was no prior notice from the party. At the same time, he added that for the last few years, he was insisting a clear blueprint for governing the nation in a sustainable way. He said that he believed that the current pattern of governance is unsustainable and a drastic all round change is the need of the hour. In this documentation the party is expected to emphasis on e-governance to avoid the scopes of manipulation at national level. In his statement, Chandrasekhar said that corruption eradication measures and creating more and more job opportunities, both in public and private sector, will be key agendas in his documentation. |
