While commenting on the decision of the party to hire someone outside the party for this task, Nitin Gadkari, the BJP President, said that that the party wants to leverage on the vast expertise of Chadrasekhar in formulating the blueprint of the next 15 years. He also added that Chandrasekhar acted as one of the leading captains of the Indian industry and it is going to definitely help in preparing ‘Vision-2025'.

Reacting to this decision of BJP, Chandrasekhar said that it was a big surprise for him as there was no prior notice from the party. At the same time, he added that for the last few years, he was insisting a clear blueprint for governing the nation in a sustainable way.
